Upon full assessment of your suitability for the admission in school/university and the visa requirement, we will advise you with the total study cost as well as what you need initially. Generally, you will require having a semester fees, living expenses, student health insurance and traveling expense. The process

The process of applying for a student pass is simple. Visa applications will be submitted by the respective higher educational institution to the Director of Pass & Permit Division, Malaysia Immigration Department Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur (e-Student Pass System). Students do not need to apply directly to the Immigration Department under this procedure.

You will be informed regarding your application status by the Immigration Department in Malaysia within approximate 7 to 14 days after submitting.

Before this, students need to meet the following requirements.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Confirmation of Enrollment 

  • Be 18 years old or above for higher education students
  • Must satisfy an English proficiency.
  • Satisfactorily completed year 12 or its equivalent.
  • Letter of offer issued and accepted
  • Admission fee paid.

English Language Skills (IELTS or other acceptable testing system)  

  • You must satisfy English language proficiency
  • Test taken must not be older than two years
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)(Academic or General)

IELTS test score of: 

  • 5 or above for direct entry into a course
  • 5 with an ELICOS course up to 20 weeks.

Financial Requirement 

You must have enough money to pay for your tuition fees, travel and your living expenses for yourself and your dependent family for the duration of your stay in Malaysia. Fund should be genuinely available.

 Health Requirement 

You must undergo a health check depending on your personal circumstances, including your country of citizenship, time spent in another country during the last five years. This applies to you and any dependent family members included in your application.

Character Requirements 

You must provide Police Clearance Certificate from your country of citizen and from other countries where you have lived for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

Academic Records and History 

These are your academics records such as Diploma, Transcripts of Records, and Certificates.

Personal Bond

The educational institution is required student to sign and pay a Personal Bond prescribed under Regulation 18 of the Immigration Regulations 1963  so as to guarantee that the person (student) to whom such a pass is issued will comply with the provisions of the ordinance and any regulations made there-under.

 

THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • An offer letter or letter of acceptance from the educational institution to the student
  • Student Pass Application Form
  • Two photocopies of the student’s passport / travel document (with a validity period of at least 12 months)
  • Three passport-sized photographs of the student
  • One photocopy of the student’s medical health examination report
  • Evidence of student’s ability to finance their education cost in Malaysia
  • The educational institution is required to sign a Personal Bond with payment

After visa is approved, you will be allowed to direct entry into Malaysia with the exception of students from The People’s Republic of China who is required to obtain a Single-Entry Visa before they come to Malaysia.
